We believe the foundation of great care rests in the capable, committed and well-trained direct-care staff. Our staff is trained on three levels
of care and experienced in caring for Alzheimer and dementia residents.

We started our home in 1990 and incorporated in 1995. Our home was designed as a long-term care residence and Sunshine Homecare has remained a residence for seniors needing assistance with everyday living needs. Our Program Supervisor was the Executive Director for the Franklin Nursing Home in New York, a 420 unit facility, for 10 years.
Every resident functions as a member of a complete household and family. We share meals together, watch favorite TV shows together and have holiday celebrations together.
We are wellness facility for seniors needing assistance
We are experienced in restorative care for dementia care residents as well as Alzeimer's care. Our staff receives special training to be able to engage our dementia residents and to have empathy with them and high consideration towards our resident population. We provide continuing education to our caregivers, who are born to serve with their hearts and minds and are compassionate with all the residents and their families.
Our home is located in a beautiful private neighborhood in the proximity of Lake Whetstone. The lake offers a delightful experience with nature for the residents and their families. The home is safe and secure for all types of residents, provides comfortable accommodation with only private rooms, designed to please the eyes and stimulate the brains of our residents. Emergency call buttons are available for each residents, as well as night rounds by friendly staff.

Our Vision & Plans
To provide to all seniors a home away from home. We have plans to open a second home in the same community later in 2017.
Our house pet is always welcoming and friendly, ready to play or cuddle.
